ZIV Appoints Dewar Electronics as Representative
Dewar Electronics have been appointed the Australian representatives of Spanish company ZIV Aplicaciones y Tecnología. The ZIV group of companies designs, manufactures and markets digital EQUIPMENT and SYSTEMS in the areas of PROTECTION, CONTROL, METERING, SYSTEM ENGINEERING, SERVICES and COMMUNICATION for substation applications in the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Dewar has for many years represented ZIV subsidiary Dimat and now adds the remaining companies of the group. These are Protection & Control, Medina (meters) and uSysCom. (Ethernet products).
Making the announcement Norberto Santiago Managing Director of ZIV said the appointment of Dewar Electronics will allow the ZIV group of companies to build on the success already achieved by Dewar in selling Dimat communication equipment to Australian power utilities. Delia Jones, Managing Director of Dewar commented that the ZIV range of product now allows Dewar to provide Australian power utilities with sales and customer support for the ZIV group of IEC61850 certified, state of the art protection, control, metering and communication products.
