Highly flexible and compact, for transmitting voice and data over high-voltage power lines, OPC-1 is based on advanced technology: microprocessors, digital signal processing, and high performance filtering.

OPC-1 terminals are available in four different models according to their output power (5, 20, 40 or 80 W). This, together with their modular design and the programmability of the functioning parameters such as carrier frequencies, input and output levels, modulation percentages and so on, makes it possible to adapt their features to the particular requirements of each customer. A large selection of different optional modules can be added to an OPC-1 terminal. OPC-1 terminals provide great flexibility to power utilities, by enabling different types of information (telecontrol data, speech and teleprotection signals) to be transmitted over high-voltage lines.
